Where does the time go? Already the end of September! Apologies on getting this update out late!
Today we were lucky to have Ann, Barry and Graham from the Abbotsford club join us as guests and presenters! Always a treat! They brought us an update about SIGN (Just in case you need a refresher, find out more here). It's amazing and inspiring to see what impact our Kiwanis donations are having for this program.
Ann specifically spoke about some of the lives that have been changed for the better because individuals have access to this program. It's such a positive and so uplifting! I hope everyone has an opportunity to go to one of the SIGN conferences in their Kiwanis career.
Arley spoke about Super Reader beginning to gear up, so do not forget your agenda book for next week. ORN is going full steam ahead, not long now till the first night! Brian reminded us that the races are coming up on November 4 too.
We have our Board Meeting looming, forward anything you want discussed on to Michelle to be added to the agenda. Also the District Council Meeting is in Abbotsford on Novermber 14, more details coming at our November 1st meeting.
